Tributes paid to asthma sufferer who died from fatal attack despite living most of his life without The family of a ‘much-loved’ man have spoken of their heartache after he died from a fatal asthma attack.  Michael Kearney had developed problems with asthma after a bout of pneumonia as a baby and was able to live most of his life without a reliance on inhalers.  At the age of 25, his condition worsened and he sadly passed away, reports Belfast Live.  His family have paid an emotional tribute to Michael, who they’ve described as someone who was the ‘life and soul of the party’.  Michael’s sister Ashley said: “Michael was one of them people that just loved his family. He doted on our mum, she was his world. There is five of us, and he just doted on the family. Michael was the youngest boy, and we called him 'our blue-eyed Micky.’   "He recently got a new job in a call centre and he was looking forward to every aspect of it, he had planned to move up to Belfast and he was so excited for the journey.  "He was the quiet man and it has just been so overwhelming to see how much he was loved by so many. We had no idea at all that he was loved so much. And we can understand why, because he was such a brilliant character.   "Michael was the funniest man you'd ever meet and had a big fan base on TikTok doing funny videos and dances. We only recently went through his videos, and it is unreal the talent he had. Him and Kirsty were forever on recording these videos - they were great.  "Michael was the life and soul of a party. If he wasn't invited to a party, he would have it sniffed out. He would have been there anyway. That boy had some dance moves. He would have cleared the room."  And in a bid to remember Michael, who is from Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, his family and friends have vowed to raise awareness surrounding asthma in his memory.  "Michael developed asthma, he wasn't born with asthma. He actually had pneumonia as a baby and then the asthma came form that but he managed it very well and was never without his inhalers. He always had them to hand," she added.  "And we just don't think that asthma gets the awareness that it should be getting. One thing we have taken from this, is that we are going to raise so much needed awareness about asthma, in Michael's name and in his memory.  "We are going to get in touch with an asthma charity and hopefully do a tribute for Michael. His memory will never be lost and there will never be a day goes by where we don't speak about him.  "Michael has two beautiful little nieces Kali and Lily, and little James his god son. He just doted on them, he was always the first one out the door playing with the kids on the trampoline and he just loved him with all his heart. He was never apart from his cousins Caren and Aidan and just had a great bond with everyone. His brothers, sisters, in-laws, aunts and uncles - he loved them all so much.  "And the community around us has just been incredible during what has been a tough week. I cannot put into words how much we appreciate them. We have some very loving pe
