Lea Catalina, Realtor asks me questions about Health and Safety issues that can pop up in appraisals

Some appraisers literally get on a power trip nowadays and specifically put comments in the appraisal that they know will either kill a transaction or cost the buyer and seller several thousand dollars.

This is the sort of thing that happens when you take a tiny person and give them what they think is power over others. Current laws don't let me pick the appraiser nor even communicate with them. They feel entitled to each assignment they get knowing that we don't have a choice.

This has cost consumers billions of dollars since it was implemented and the quality of the appraisal reports is worse rather than better.
