LAV - LEAP Conference 2020

Landmark Audio/Video is hosting a Sound System Training Seminar this year on May 2nd. It’s no coincidence that our very first LEAP conference falls on Leap year. We hope to help your church, volunteer team, etc to LEAP forward. The cost will be $15 for each participant, this includes the training and a lunch catered by Chick-Fil-A. Training will be hosted at Wrightsboro Baptist Church and take place from 9am to around 3pm.


Learn: We are going to do our best to teach the basics of sound. Starting at the very beginning. We will discuss things like the anatomy of a mixing console, gain structure, eq, limiter, gate, and effects. We know we cannot teach all of this in a single seminar but we will do our best to cover the important pieces to give you a foot up when showtime comes.


Experience: We will be demonstrating these lessons and tools during the seminar AND during the Apply portion of the event.


Apply: We are planning to do a hands on portion where we will cycle participants through “lanes” as we train on the various topics. Expect this portion to be experienced in small groups so we can fit everyone through.


Perform: We hope that with the tools we give you, you can go back to your church and perform with more confidence, skill, and passion.
