Family Visit to The Gentle Barn 🐂, Ellen DeGeneres' Favorite Charity

Our family visited The Gentle Barn this President's Day weekend. This was our third visit. The Gentle Barn is a non-profit organization providing sanctuary for abused animals who would otherwise not be able to find homes.

Founded by Ellie Laks in 1999, the animal sanctuary is located in Santa Clarita, CA, about a 40-minute drive north of Los Angeles.

They have all sorts of rescued animals - horses, cows, chickens, turkeys, pigs, goats, and a bunch more. Definitely one of our favorite places to visit - plus, they're dog-friendly, so Beans always gets to tag along!
