Not only did he say that he though Wilder won the first fight but that it wasn't even close. Many boxing fans and experts would disagree. Bernard Hopkins is a partner at Golden Boy promotions and it doesn't appear that he would have a dog in that fight but clearly he is favoring Wilder in the rematch and it seems that he doesn't think to highly of the Gypsy King. I thought Radio Raheem did everything he could do to keep from laughing when hearing some of the rhetoric the former boxing great was spewing out of his mouth. Bernard even went as far to say if Fury wins against Wilder he would not do any interviews for a year! I did not put that in the video.
But what stood out the most to me was when out of nowhere Hopkins compared Tyson Fury to multi- heavyweight contender Gerry Cooney saying "I think Cooney was a little better." In this video we look back at some of Cooney's better fights and compared the 2 heavyweight giants.
