Learn to Conquer Fear: Lessons from Entrepreneurs | Laurie Stach | TEDxLuxembourgCityWomen

Learn to Conquer Fear: Lessons from Entrepreneurs | Laurie Stach | TEDxLuxembourgCityWomen Entrepreneurs have learned to tackle fear. They approach fear differently from how they view stress, take action, build an internal drive, and see problems as opportunities. We’ll explore ~5000 applications of aspiring entrepreneurs to the LaunchX program, the speaker’s founding story, and the psychology of stress and fear. Anyone can learn the powerful capacity to tackle fear that can be life-changing with these lessons from successful entrepreneurs. Laurie is the Founder of LaunchX, an entrepreneurship program for high school students, plus did mechanical engineering at MIT and got her MBA from Harvard Business School. She previously worked at MIT's entrepreneurship center where she built and ran the entrepreneurship center maker space, developed and taught an EdX course in entrepreneurship, and designed and taught MIT's Intro to Making class. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
