CHS Pediatric cardiologs and cardiac surgeons meeting on 23 November 2019, İstanbul was opened by a video showing the experience of a young teenage from İstanbul who was succesfully operated by Prof Dr Tayyar Sarıoğlu. Prof. Dr. Tayyar Sarıoğlu, cardiac surgeon is stating the mission in Turkey for cardiac patients is to provide most appropriate medical and surgical care with the most possible outcome. Cardiac team's philospy is to support and respect every child and family.
Prof.Dr.Ender Ödemiş, professor of pediatric cardiology is stating that the cardiac team in İstanbul can diagnose cardiac defects from womb to adult. For several cardiac malformations such as ASD, VSD, Atrial septectomy, Ventricular septectomy, PDA, pulmonary valve and aortic valve defects,pediatric cardiologs can treat the patients by transcatheter approach instead of traditional surgical way.
Prof.Dr.Ersin Erek, cardiac surgeon, is identifying surgical spectrum as neonatal heart surgery, Arterial Switch for Transposition of Great Arteries, Ross operation, Fontan Operation, Rastelli, conduit replacement, Atrial Septal defect nrepair, Heart Valve Surgery, Hypoplastic left heart syndrome.
