India's cabinet clears bill to provide Indian nationality to non-Muslim refugees

India's cabinet has cleared the Citizenship Amendment Bill, which seeks to provide Indian nationality to non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. It will now be tabled in Parliament next week for approval by both houses.
