“Our parents grew us up, the women, ready for the workplace. And now it falls on us to grow the workplace up to be ready for women.” said Sinjini Sengupta. In this insightful talk on corporate policies and culture, Sengupta explores the need for an eco-system of gender-equity at workplaces. She proposes actions each of us can take up, in both our personal and professional capacities, to make it easier for women to grow children and careers together. Sinjini Sengupta is an author, a TEDx speaker and an erstwhile actuary. She is the proud recipient of numerous national and international awards for her active participation in the field of Literature. In fact, Sengupta’s debut novel, “Elixir” was released in 2017 and received widespread acclaim. Later on, it was made into a film and was screened at the 69th Cannes Film Festival.
