Terrorist teen or innocent aid worker? Australian in Syria not welcome home | 60 Minutes Australia Australia’s spy agency, ASIO, has declared 19-year-old Oliver Bridgeman from Toowoomba an enemy of the nation. It suspects him of being a terrorist. Subscribe here: Full Episodes here Bridgeman says the accusation is not true, and that far from being a risk, he is a humanitarian aid worker. His problem, though, is that for the past year he’s been living in Syria, a country destroyed by civil war and overrun by Islamic State extremists. Now Bridgeman wants to come home, but our government refuses to lay out the welcome mat.
