Macao Legislative Council Member in support of Xi's call to end violence in Hong Kong

Members of the legislative council in Macao are supporting Chinese President Xi Jinping's call for an end to violence in Hong Kong. Xi made that call while attending the 11th BRICS summit in Brasilia on November 14. He pointed out that the persistent violence is seriously undermining Hong Kong's prosperity, and said the central government will continue to support the Hong Kong government and police in exercising law-based governance and punishment.
