The footage shows an older bare chested boy holding onto the snake, which appears to be a small python, and blowing on it.

The young boy wearing a blue and red t-shirt and a baseball cap sticks his tongue out at the snake.

The older boy mirrors him by sticking his tongue out and angles the snake towards the young boy's mouth.

The snake lurches forward and latches onto the child's tongue, biting him.

He closes his eyes in horror and in pain as onlookers laugh loudly.

The young boy brings both hands up to his mouth in an attempt to remove the reptile which clings on.

He starts to cry and wail with the crowd around him still laughing.

The snake eventually appears to let go and the older boy removes him.
