Does your doctor owe you money? If you have health insurance privately or through your job and you pay copayments and receive EOB's (explanations of benefits), then theres a chance that your doctor overcharged you for services and just might owe you money! In this video Kathie shares three ways that we were overcharged by doctors in the past few months for services rendered. For example, you might have been expected to pay your bill in full at the time of service, or you might have paid the bill you received in the mail without even thinking about it. You could also have been charged more than one copay when you were only supposed to pay one. But what if you overpaid? How can you know and what can you do? She explains how to know if you've been overcharged and different ways that overcharging occurs ad she shares what you can do to get the money that you are owed back and how to make sure you aren't overcharged in the future.
