Budget airline Ryanair is giving Scots the chance to escape the winter blues and head for the sun with their brand new sale. The Dublin-based carrier has slashed prices by up to 20 per cent off millions of seats for destinations across Europe. Fares start at £4.99 for trips to lesser-known spots in France, Sweden and Denmark. There are also flights to hotspots including Alicante, Barcelona, Faro, Malaga, Malta, Milan, Palma de Mallorca and Venice for as little as £9.99. Of course that's not all - there are also plenty of deals under £20 to be had to destinations such as Budapest, Krakow, Lisbon Menorca, Paphos, Pisa, Rome, Valencia and plenty more. The best part is that the deals are valid on select travel dates until the 30th June 2020, so they're ideal for families tied to school holiday dates, thinking of a last minute getaway for February half term, May half term or even the May bank holiday weekends. All of the deals are already available to book on the Ryanair website but you'll need to do so by Sunday 9th February when the sale ends. It's also worth noting that the cheapest fares are subject to availability, and that these won't include any extra fees or a second piece of hand luggage. You can find out more about the airline's bag policy on the Ryanair website here. There's quite a generous choice of UK airports too with the likes of Birmingham, East Midlands Liverpool, London and Newcastle included in the offer. Meanwhile, you'll have plenty of UK airports to choose from. The deals are valid from a host of major travel hubs including Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, London Stansted, London Southend, London Luton, Manchester and Newcastle. If you can't quite make the deals work or can't find discounts for your chosen destination, then you may also want to check out our Cheap Flights and Holiday Deals page which we regularly update with all the latest travel offers and sales as we find them.
