Mistakes Actually Give You Leverage

People live in fear of letting people make mistakes when in actuality they give you more leverage in future decisions. If you give your employees full control of the decision and it ends up being wrong, then it leaves them with no option but to give you full control of the next decision. Gary lets all his employees test their ideas even if he doesn't agree with them because one of two things can happen. Either the employee was right and their idea worked, or they were wrong and they have to do it Gary's way next time. The results of execution are always more accurate than the debate about what to do.
