Relief for travellers as police, NTSA intervene to stop fares hike

Police in Eldoret in conjunction with National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) officers on Tuesday conducted a crackdown on public service vehicles (PSVs) which had hiked fares as learners re-opened school.
During the crackdown led by Uasin Gishu county police commander, Mr. Johnston Ipara ordered to operators to return the extra fare to passengers.
