We start at the top office where President Moon Jae-in, during his New Year's address, called for more inter-Korean efforts to spur progress in the ongoing peace process.
The president also talked about the possibility of North Korean leader's visit to Seoul this year.
For more on this, we go live to our presidential office correspondent Shin Se-min at the top office.
Se-min.

President Moon Jae-in spelled out his administration's goal for 2020 during his New Year's address.
The eye-catching part,... President Moon revisiting the idea of inviting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to Seoul.
If you recall-- the leaders of the two Koreas shook hands in Pyeongyang in 2018,... with Moon promising to invite the North Korean leader back to Seoul for a trip by the end of that year,... which we already know did not happen.

"I hope the two Koreas, through concerted joint events cementing the will of peaceful unification, make efforts to create the conditions for Chairman Kim Jong-un's reciprocal visit at an early date."

President Moon Jae-in is hoping to realize that promise in 2020,... saying this year is all the more meaningful,... with the year marking the 20th anniversary of the June 15 Inter-Korean Joint Statement, and the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.

And we hear that the president also talked about stepping up cooperation with North Korea.

Yes, President Moon, giving out his frank, down-to-earth review of the somewhat rocky Korean peace process, said he was sorry for not being able to witness more progress in the last year, but expressed his unchanged push to continue the talks.

"I am ready to hold meetings again and to hold discussions. I will continue my efforts to resume business at the joint inter-Korean Kaesong Industrial Complex and tours at Mount Geumgang. I will look back at promises never met last year and go over the reasons they failed to meet Korean peoples' expectations and continue to march on every step of the way."

He emphasized bringing back inter-Korean cultural cooperation,... hoping to invite North Korean athletes to the upcoming 2020 East Asian Weightlifting Championships and the World Table Tennis Championships,... both being held in South Korea this year... as well as continuing talks over fielding unified inter-Korean teams at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
And he also proposed a more tangible partnership,... like efforts to put the Demilitarized Zone onto UNESCO's World Heritage List, together,... and said it's something that can be started immediately.
This,... after the president had offered to transform the DMZ into a UN-led international peace zone last year.

Aside from inter-Korean diplomacy,... the president also mentioned some local issues right?

He sure did.
And his key word for state affairs this year,... bringing about a more "definitive change".
The president said with the backdrop of 'fair' in our society, there can be innovation and inclusivity that will eventually breathe life into our economy.
Also revisiting his message from earlier this year,... the president said no powerful institution can exist above the people,... and promised to ramp up his efforts to create a fair and just society.
Ji-yoon?
