As a definite article in the English language , (the) is used for many purposes
Some are certain purposes and others are cases
for instant we can't omit the before anything that is one from it in the universe lie (the sun , the moon)
some other names make us feel confusion like (orange - iron)
because we don't use the before colours or materials
but we use the before fruits or things
in general we can't use (the) before proper names but if we mean the family of this , also before countries guy we CAN use (the)
