There are 3 Characteristics of Particles of Matter, they are as follows
1. Particles of Matter have Space between them
2. Particles of Matter are continuously moving.
3. Particles of Matter attract each other
Points to know:-
-Particles of Matter move continuously due to its Kinetic Energy.
(You are going to learn about kinetic energy in Physics in Class 9)
-Higher the kinetic energy, faster is the motion of particles of matter.
-Kinetic energy rises with the increase in temperature.
DIFFUSION:-
The intermixing of particles of two different types of matter on their own is called Diffusion.
-Diffusion becomes faster on heating.
-The strength of force of attraction varies from one kind of matter to another.
