Caprice gives awkward explanation for Hamish split which infuriates DOI fans Caprice Bourret has broken her silence for the first time since 'parting ways' with Hamish Gaman amid an awkward return.  The model, 48, returned to the ice with new partner, Swiss skater Oscar Peter, but did not get a welcome reception from the booing audience.  Dancing on Ice have stood firm against the allegations and deny that there was any 'bullying' as she reportedly prepares to sue ITV.  Explaining what happened in a VT, Caprice said: "I missed last week's show as I'm no longer skating with Hamish. I think I’m as ready as I’ll ever be."  Caprice got a score of 25 from the judges, which was less than her skate with former partner Hamish.  After stepping off the ice, Caprice let out a nervous giggle as she admitted: "It's been a tough week, yeah."  Chris Dean claimed she was "starting from scratch to some extent" as the judges gave their criticism.  While Ashley Banjo confessed they had not had long enough together to build a good rapport.   Taking to Twitter , one viewer said: "Is everyone struggling for nice things to say here and they're only bothering for Oscar?
