The Liberal Democrat leader, Jo Swinson, has been confronted in Glasgow by a young voter who challenged her about her party's role in the coalition government and the impact of austerity. Jay Sutherland, an 18-year-old student from Strathclyde University, told Swinson: 'People are dying here, they’re in poverty, because of what you’ve done on austerity'
