Breaking News US|Australia ll  Tiny cottage in rural NSW looks like something out of a fairytale A cottage nestled in acres of native bush looks as though it's straight from the pages of a fairytale.The small hideaway is situated in Ulong on the mid-North Coast of New South Wales and has been dubbed the 'Faraway Cottage'.For $150 a night, guests can stay in the quirky recycled cottage and enjoy the modern kitchen, a wrought-iron double bed and an outdoor clawfoot bath and fireplace.The cottage is listed on Riparide, a share accommodation site similar to Airbnb but notably different in the homes on offer focus on natural living and lifestyles.The tiny home is situated on a five-acre property, land the owners have lived on for almost 10 years.'We adore living here as we are very creative people with a love for nature who never tire of all this area has to offer,' the owners said on the site.  Share this article Share 40 shares On arrival, guests are greeted with a veranda that runs the length of the cottage, a structure that features hand-hewn beams supporting the roof.Behind two bright blue french doors, another world exists, one created to help guests feel as if they've stepped back to simpler times.The open-plan space comes with unvarnished flooring and corrugated roofing, a feature that includes exposed ceiling beams. Fairy lights and hanging foliage have been added to the home's decor, an element that gives the space an ethereal touch.A fully-fitted out kitchen that includes a SMEG fridge, four-hob gas burner and stone sink makes it a breeze to spend time cooking an array of favourite meals.This area comes with a dining table and chairs complete with candle lantern and a very comfortable couch, perfect for spending hours reading and relaxing.A wrought-iron double bed is situated in the far corner of the space, along with drawers and a unique chair that appears to be made from twigs and logs.While there's an inbuilt bathroom with toilet ander, those wanting to luxuriate can do so in an outdoor clawfoot bath.The bath, located on the front porch, offers stunning views, easily fits two and also comes with a rainfaller in brass. Those visiting the Faraway Cottage should know there's no Wifi - something that deliberately encourages guests to slow down.Instead of spending nights glued to a cellphone or a laptop, the owners offer guests the chance to spend evenings around an outdoor fireplace.This delightful addition doesn't just add a rustic touch but also allows bolder cooks to try out a spot of bush cooking. ● :
